DESCRIPTION: Semi-synthetic winter grade lubricant

INGREDIENTS AND EXPOSURE LIMITS

PEL = OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit. TLV = ACGIH Threshold Limit Value. These are 8 hour time-weighted averages unless otherwise indicated by "C" (Ceiling) or "STEL" (Short Term Exposure Limit). NE = None Established. NA = Not Applicable.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Water, CO₂, foam, dry chemical.

SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: None known. A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn when fighting fires involving chemicals.

UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: None known.

REACTIVITY DATA

STABILITY: Stable.

INCOMPATIBILITY: Strong oxidizers

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Carbon monoxide can form upon incomplete combustion.

HEALTH HAZARD DATA

KNOWN HAZARDS: Can cause eye and skin irritation. Prolonged and repeated contact can lead to dermatitis.

CARCINOGENICITY: No ingredients are identified as carcinogenic by IARC, NTP or OSHA.

PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Dermal.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Repeated skin contact can cause dermatitis. Inhalation of oil mist can cause respiratory irritation.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Eye, skin, and respiratory conditions.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES

EYES: Flush with plenty of water. Get medical attention if symptoms persist.

SKIN: Wash with soap and water. Contaminated clothing should be laundered before reuse.

INHALATION: Move victim to fresh air.

INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting unless directed to by a physician. Get medical attention. Material, if aspirated into the lungs, can cause chemical pneumonitis.

OTHER: Referral to a physician is recommended if there is any question about the seriousness of the injury/exposure.

CONTROL MEASURES AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

VENTILATION: General (i.e. natural or mechanically induced fresh air movements that maintain vapor concentrations below recommended exposure limits).

EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses are recommended for most industrial settings.

SKIN PROTECTION: Not required. Gloves recommended (cotton gloves are adequate).

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Dust/mist respirator (e.g. 3M8710) where exposure to mists is likely.

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE

HANDLING AND STORING PRECAUTIONS: Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Avoid inhalation of mists or vapor. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep container closed when not in use.

SPILL PROCEDURES: Absorb with sand or inert material. Sweep or scoop up and remove. Keep from entering sanitary sewers and waterways.
